WHAT WE DO

QuietStone Studio, LLC is a freelance art and design studio located close to the shore of southern Delaware.

Accomodating a variety of clientele, including private art collectors, authors, marketers, historians, and business-owners, our offerings have extended from fine art to encompass graphic design, illustration, and corporate identity. Our small-scale operation affords the ability to maintain close interaction with clients to develop pieces perfectly suited to their requirements.

Thanks to the wonders of the internet, we are able to handle long-distance projects with ease, which provides an alternative artistic resource for individuals bound by the high rates and heavy client load of city-based art departments and design firms.

WHY WE DO IT (the story behind the name)

"...the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen:‘Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!’ Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus ’Teacher, rebuke your disciples!"

‘I tell you,’ he replied, ‘if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.’"

Every day, we experience the miracle of life and the endless beauty that God has created for us to enjoy in this world. Take the time to examine the most seemingly insignificant detail of creation - a blade of grass, a grain of salt, a small stone - and let yourself realize the power and complexity of God. He is everywhere, and the works of His hands are signs of His presence.

Our hope is that whatever we do in life is a reflection of and a direction toward God - using art as a form of praise as we stand in awe of His grace. The name, "QuietStone Studio," is a reminder that by praising God through our work, we are fullfilling our place in His world...while the stones (creation) remain quiet evidence of His love and glory.

He is the True Artist.
